"Nick Romer has the golden touch. He is among the most honest and knowledgeable businessmen I have ever known. Nick has the ability to guide and help others through the difficult waters of both retail and on air sales. He has made every product he has touched successful in these markets… Whenever I need advice on anything, I call Nick!”
Nick Romer's "Inventing 201" online series is a rare opportunity to learn from someone that is not only an award winning inventor and developer of over 100 products, but someone that has experienced success with his inventions. His products have sold on all the major home shopping channels in the US and Europe (to the tune of over $14 Million) and they have successfully sold in 22,000 stores in 23 countries.
Before
After
Nick's unique insight and track record of success give him an unparalled advantage when helping others because inventing is more than just patent searches and patents. To be successful in this field you have to create things that people will want, need, and will spend money to acquire.
In addition to helping you with vital steps in the product development process, this course will give you an inside look at how Nick evaluates and creates products before moving forward with them. As Nick often says, "Know the exit before you enter," because too many people practice "Ready, Fire, Aim" and jump in without thinking ahead. And then after they've spent thousands of dollars getting their invention "ready" they wonder why their inventions are not being well received.
By the time you are done with this course, you might be holding a million dollar product in your hands
Early in Nick's career when he was undecided about moving forward with his product, he asked a friend for advice. His friend asked Nick if he believed in his product. Nick replied, "Yes." To which his friend said, "You have no choice now but to pursue it, because if you don't, you will spend the rest of your life wondering, 'What if?' And worse yet, if you don't pursue it, you might one day see your idea on TV or in stores because someone else decided it was worth pursuing."
So Nick took action and his product took off!!! And since his beginnings he has been helping others reach their dreams too.
And thanks to high demand from people around the world that can't travel to his live events, Nick has created a wonderful online opportunity that will hopefully help you take your ideas from inside your brilliant mind to something you can hold in your hands and move into the marketplace.

SYLLABUS:
Inventing - #201
Description
Week #1
"Creating and Finding Hot Products - Inside the Creative Process" - Whether you are coming into this class with an idea or not, this module will broaden your product development process and will likely lead you to improve upon your existing product/ideas. Additionally, Nick will show you how to find "opportunity gaps" and share with you the "new tools" many successful inventors are using to tap into their creativity.
Week #2
"Marketability - Assessing the Potential of Your Product" - This is a critical part of the invention process that could save you thousands of dollars and countless hours.
Objectivity is often lost by inventors that have a "Eureka moment," and this module shows you how to step back and use the tools available to us in this day and age to make an objective evaluation. What you find in the process might not only lead you to rethink your idea, you might even discover a larger and better opportunity. And like the first week's module, this step might spur your creativity in new directions as well.
Week #3
"How to Protect Your Invention and Protect Yourself from Infringing on Someone Else's" - This module covers the various possibilities available for protecting your invention and protecting you from infringing on others. Additionally, you will learn how it's possible to be "patent pending" in as little as twenty four hours and how you can save possibly thousands of dollars in the patent search process.
Week #4
"Prototyping" - Creating a prototype not only proves your concept, but may be your best selling tool. This area is not a one-size-fits-all as everyone's needs are different, but there are many ways to build a prototype for your purposes as you will learn this week. Nick brings forward a diverse background in manufacturing and has a large database of contacts that will likely be able to help you in this area if your prototype is beyond a do-it-yourself scenario.
Week #5
"Manufacturing" - In this module Nick will share with you one of the biggest mistakes you can possibly avoid that many first time inventors, and experienced people make, along with what to expect, how to speak with manufacturers, and how to find them. Nick will also share his experiences, pro's and con's, of manufacturing in the US and abroad.
Week #6
"Financing Your Invention" - Nick will cover the many facets of financing your invention so you will be able to narrow down your opportunities. You will learn the do's and don'ts to staying in control of your invention (and ownership of your company) in this dog-eat-dog environment, among many other aspects of this often unfriendly and confusing arena.
Possible Additions: We might have some special guests and impromptu webinars too - depending on the needs of the group.
Special Note from Nick Romer: - You are not alone. I'm here to help you realize your dreams. Although I've been inventing since I was a young boy, I did not enter the inventing world officially until my mid 20's. And when I did, I didn't know whom to trust or where to turn. I only wish resources like I'm putting forth here existed when I started. It would have accelerated my path to success and it would clearly have saved me thousands of dollars and countless hours in mistakes. (I could write a book alone just on those mistakes but I'll gladly be sharing many of them with you in this course!)
I often encounter inventors that wake up in the middle of the night with an idea and think they've invented the greatest thing since sliced bread. Most often, they are the only ones that think their "Eureka moment" is worth millions. This is one of the main reasons I put together this course. It contains practical ways to determine and assess the potential of your invention beyond "feelings" and "intuition" - which I do highly regard and rely upon extensively in my own work - but do not base my decisions on in entirety.
I often take for granted the ease at which I move through the intellectual property protection/prototyping/manufacturing process of inventing, but I don't take for granted assessing the marketability of my ideas and thinking about the exit strategy before I walk in the entrance. It's a vital part of the process because if you've got "inventor's blindness" you might not be realistic about your product, the result of which can be devastating to your well-being mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially.
This course is not the final word on the invention process (for our purposes I describe that which covers the main things before marketing your invention/product) but it is designed to help you create a solid foundation and is based on my own experiences in a multitude of arenas.
About the pricing. I created this course to accomplish two things with regards to pricing. Firstly, I wanted it to be "dirt cheap." It is. Take the time to read some of the testimonials (and the ones below) from people that have participated in one of my events or another. There are some prominent people vouching for me that know what I say is valuable, powerful, truthful, empowering, and above all practical, because I did it and am still active doing it today.
And the second thing I wanted to accomplish is to massively overdeliver. By providing information that will pay for the course over and over - and I know I will accomplish that with just one or two tips I will share with you that cost me thousands to learn - you will gain far more in value than the small amount you will pay to participate in this course.
To that end, I hope you'll take the next step because I'm looking forward to helping you realize your dreams.
All the best,
Nick Romer
